Bahrain set for GCC Games
Manama : Bahrain will look to regain the GCC Women’s Games glory next month when the fifth edition of the games takes place in Doha from March 7 to 17 and hope to win the event for a record third time.
This year’s Games features 13 sports - handball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, taekwondo, shooting, athletics for people with disabilities, chess, fencing, bowling, tennis, athletics and equestrian. Supreme Council for Youth and Sports deputy Secretary-General, Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) board member and Women’s Sport Committee chairwoman Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa will lead the Bahraini delegation.
