GOLDEN TULIP HONOR SPORTS FEDERATIONS

Under the patronage of His Majesty’s Advisor for sport affairs Saleh bin Isa bin Hindi, the Golden Tulip Bahrain Hotel shares the Kingdom’s celebrations of the Sports Day of 2017, by hosting a ceremony in honor of sports federations that have achieved excellent results for the Kingdom of Bahrain at the regional and international levels, and that have contributed as well to raising the reputation of our beloved Kingdom high in the regional and international forums.

Following a successful first edition last year, Food is Culture returns as a two month collaboration between artists, chefs, ‘foodies’ and experts discussing, creating and showcasing the link between Food, Art and Culture. 

Join us at the Bahrain National Museum where 5 artists and 6 chefs from Bahrain have paired not only share their creative process but produce one of a kind creations of food and art to savour with the audience! 

 

 ESCWA WATER-ENERGY NEXUS: RESOURCE EFFICIENCY WORKSHOP 

Date : Today 10 am - 20 Feb 3 pm 

Venue : Le Méridien Bahrain City Centre- Manama 

The UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Beirut, Lebanon, in cooperation with the National Oil and Gas Authority in Bahrain under the patronage of the Minister of Oil, will organize a regional capacity-building workshop on ‘Water–Energy Nexus: Resource Efficiency’. The event will be under the auspices of the Minister of Oil in Bahrain, on 19-20 February 2017. The workshop will be followed by a regional workshop on Carbon Capture, Use and Storage (CCUS) on 21 February.

Venue : Bushido (restaurant & lounge) - Manama 

Izakaya is a type of informal Japanese food gathering. Food items are served in small portions, similar to Spanish Tapas.Izakaya dining includes a wide variety of Bushido’s signature dishes. Food is normally ordered slowly over several courses rather than all at once. Guests can re-order dishes as much as they like. Dishes on the menu include Bushido’s famous volcano roll, the scrumptious rock shrimp tempura and the mouth-watering beef tenderloin with teriyaki sauce.
