Health sector to be more competent
Manama : The Parliament session yesterday discussed a report presented by the Minister of Health and evaluated the level and quality of the care and treatment provided at the medical facilities affiliated to the Health Ministry.
In the wake of the recent deaths at the Salmaniya Medical Complex, the cabinet was briefed on the measures taken by the Ministry to avoid committing medical errors.
Suggestions were given on ways to develop medical services, address delayed appointments and shortage of medicines and improve the quality of health services in the future.
