BCL: RedX defeat Firstcare by 106 runs

Manama : RedX Bahrain crushed Firstcare Bahrain by 106 runs in the latest matches of the Sprite sponsored BCL Premier League matches at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, RedX scored a massive 259 for four in 20 overs thanks to great knocks by openers Asif (103 off 53 deliveries) who put on 99 for the first wicket, followed by 126 runs by Asif and Saqib (63) for the second wicket with Shabib (two for 42) the best of the bowlers.

In reply, Firstcare Tornado were restricted 153/7 in 20 overs with Subeesh (45) and Suhail (33) the main scorers and Babar (two for eight) and Zaheer (two for 17) the pick of the bowlers.
