Sexual abuse of minor: Duo get jail
Manama : A Pakistani tailor and his friend were sentenced to five years each in prison on grounds of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy.
The High Criminal Court also ordered them to be deported once they finish their jail terms.
The case was reported to police officers by the child’s father, who was informed of the incident by his son.
“My son went to the tailor in Souq Waqef, and he requested him to repair his school bag. But he dragged him into his apartment and sexually abused him with his friend,” the father told prosecutors.
“When he returned home he was feeling pain in his body. When I enquired, he told me about the incident,” he added.
The duo were arrested later and were charged with rape.
