Teenager gets jail in rape case
Manama : The High Criminal Court sentenced a teenager to 10 years in prison for raping his sisters-in-law, aged 13 and 14 during 2012 and 2015.
The defendant reportedly lured his younger sister-in-law to touch his body parts while he had sex with the 14-year-old girl twice, according to court files.
The incident was reported to police by his stepmother. The defendant told prosecutors that the incident occurred with the girls’ approval and he expressed regret. However, this didn’t spare him receiving a 10-year jail sentence.
