UK builds naval support facility in the Kingdom
Manama : An official source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain has clarified that the UK is building logistic support facilities for the British Navy in the Kingdom.
The statement was made in response to the reports carried by some news agencies and media channels regarding the alleged construction of a UK military base in Bahrain.
The source also stated that the facility is being constructed under an agreement between the two friendly countries in accordance with rules and arrangements that are different from those governing the construction of military bases.
