Food-raising drive to mark Ramadan
Manama : In an initiative that celebrates the charitable spirit of Ramadan, Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain invites the public to participate in ‘A Kilo of Kindness’. Launched by Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, the campaign pairs generosity from the public with needs of the less fortunate.
The food-raising drive invites anyone to donate non-perishable food items by simply dropping supplies off at the hotel lobby during Ramadan from June 6 to 30. Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain is supporting The Palm Association - Feed a Family, the special charity that will benefit from the donated food.
Requested food items include:
8Canned food: tuna, soup, fruit, vegetables
8Dry food: rice, beans, oats, pasta, cereals, flour, powder milk, tea
8Non-glass packaged food: olive oil, canola oil, honey
8Baby food: milk formula, infant cereal
