St. Petersburg Governor to visit Bahrain next week
Manama : Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa announced that a high profile Russian delegation led by Governor of St. Petersburg, Georgy Poltavchenko, is set to visit Bahrain from April 24 to 27.
He said the visit is in response to an earlier visit by a Bahraini delegation to St. Petersburg in October 2015.
The Russian delegation comprises of 50 top figures from the public sector and private companies would discuss ways to further activate a memorandum of cooperation signed during the visit of Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to Russia in April 2014. The visit also aims to further boost bilateral relations with the Kingdom within the framework of a constructive policy based on friendship and mutual respect.
