Ozone protection initiative second phase launched in Bahrain
Manama : General Director of Customs Clearance and Inspection at the Customs Affairs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has launched the second phase of the National strategic plan for gradual elimination of Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer.
The plan is being implemented in line with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE), in coordination with Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE).
A number of trainers at the Customs Affairs and SCE were trained to deliver lectures, as the two-year plan covers 300 customs officers.
