Kingdom Cabinet Reviews Compensation, National Resilience and Security Measures
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting held at Gudaibiya Palace.
The Cabinet reviewed progress in implementing the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the order of His Royal Highness to provide full compensation to citizens whose homes and vehicles were damaged by the hostile Iranian aggression. It also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the relevant authorities in carrying out the directives.
The Cabinet praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Energies, along with Bapco Energies employees for maintaining operational continuity and supporting the Kingdom’s energy system and supply chains.
On World Teachers’ Day, the Cabinet also recognised the contributions of Bahraini education professionals in preparing future generations to contribute to the Kingdom’s development.
The Cabinet further condemned attacks by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing them as a threat to regional security and stability. It affirmed that Saudi Arabia’s security is an integral part of Bahrain’s national security and expressed support for measures to safeguard the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security and stability.
The Cabinet then approved several measures, including regulating the sale of goods under a restricted retail system, memoranda of understanding involving environmental cooperation and SME guarantee support, and a draft resolution governing medical examinations for prospective spouses.
It also reviewed reports covering the Minister of Interior’s official visit to the UAE, Bahrain’s participation in international meetings on pandemic preparedness and crime prevention, the Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector, and ministerial engagements involving Bahrain and allied countries during October 2026.
