BDF Commander-in-Chief Praises Health Sector Efforts
Bahrain Defence Force Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Supreme Council of Health Chairman Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on Wednesday.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the Supreme Health Council chairman and praised the council’s efforts in managing medical services and healthcare in Bahrain.
He also commended the council’s continued work to develop medical institutions and systems and improve their quality in line with ongoing advancements in the healthcare sector, serving citizens and residents.
Role of Bahraini youth
Shura Council Services Committee Chairwoman Dr. Jameela Mohammed Redha Al Salman described youth as a national asset and a key partner in the Kingdom’s development journey.
She stressed the Shura Council’s role in supporting youth through legislation and policies covering education, training, employment and entrepreneurship. She also highlighted the need to equip young people with future skills, including adaptability, creativity, continuous learning and responsible use of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Marine safety awareness campaign
Bahrain’s Coast Guard has launched a marine awareness campaign in cooperation with Bapco Energies as part of ongoing efforts to enhance safety and regulate maritime traffic.
The campaign is being conducted in connection with the ongoing 3D marine survey project in Bahrain’s northern waters. It aims to raise awareness among fishermen, boat owners and sea users about safety guidelines and navigation rules in the project areas.
The Coast Guard urged sea users to maintain safe speeds, avoid approaching or tampering with survey equipment, and refrain from fishing or other marine activities within designated work zones.
