One City, Six Nations, Endless Potential

Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi met with GCC delegations participating in programmes organised by the GCC Youth Empowerment Committee at Youth City 2030.

The minister welcomed the participants and praised their engagement in the programmes and activities hosted by Youth City 2030, highlighting the opportunities it provides for learning, skills development and the exchange of expertise among GCC youth.

She affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to supporting GCC joint action and strengthening cooperation and integration among the GCC countries.

Tawfiqi said the efforts are part of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, while also highlighting the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in supporting greater GCC cooperation.

She also highlighted the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, which she said provides important momentum to efforts to empower young people and expand opportunities for communication and cooperation among GCC youth.

The minister stressed that youth are a key pillar of development, underscoring the importance of continuing to provide programmes and initiatives that strengthen their capabilities, develop their skills and create wider opportunities for cooperation and innovation.
