His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces held talks with Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper, Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), during the senior military official's visit to the Kingdom.
The two sides reviewed the strong and longstanding partnership between Bahrain and the United States, with His Majesty highlighting deepening cooperation across defence and military sectors. The King reaffirmed both nations' commitment to advancing their strategic alliance.
His Majesty praised Washington's critical role in upholding security and stability across the region and in supporting broader international peace efforts.
Talks touched on the latest regional and international developments, with discussions centring on ongoing events in the Middle East and coordinated efforts to strengthen security. The meeting also addressed recent Iranian attacks in the region, with both sides exchanging views on key issues of shared concern.
