HM King receives US CENTCOM Commander in Manama

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper, Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), along with his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain.

During the meeting, His Majesty praised the close bilateral relations between Bahrain and the United States, highlighting the continuous coordination and growing cooperation across various fields, particularly in defence and military affairs.

The King noted the steady development of joint collaboration between the two friendly and allied countries, reflecting their shared commitment to strengthening strategic ties.

His Majesty also emphasised the important and pivotal role played by the United States in maintaining security and stability in the region and promoting international peace.

The meeting also reviewed the latest regional and international developments, with a particular focus on ongoing events in the region and efforts to enhance security and stability.

Discussions further addressed recent Iranian attacks in the region and included an exchange of views on several issues of mutual concern.
