Bahrain's 15th edition of Youth City 2030 will launch on July 12 with a record 256 training programmes and 10,650 training opportunities, making it the largest edition since the initiative began, Youth Affairs Minister Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi announced.
The minister said the programme is expected to attract more than 6,000 young participants, up from 5,309 last year. It will also feature more than 150 new training programmes focused on future skills and high-growth sectors, increasing the total number of courses from around 230 in 2025 to 256 this year.
Organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in partnership with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), Youth City 2030 will bring together more than 105 partners from the public, private and civil sectors to provide participants with a broad range of learning and development opportunities.
This year's edition will include five specialised centres covering entrepreneurship and leadership, arts and culture, science and technology, media and digital innovation, as well as a newly introduced Sports City developed in cooperation with the private sector.
The minister encouraged Bahraini youth to take advantage of the initiative to enhance their skills, gain practical experience and strengthen their readiness for future careers.
