Attempted theft at commercial complex

The First High Criminal Court reviewed a case involving a 24-year-old repeat offender accused of attempting to steal items from a commercial complex using force against a worker. Prosecutors said the defendant attacked an employee with an iron scissor after being discovered inside an office area, before fleeing with stolen items. Witnesses testified that the suspect assaulted staff, attempted to escape through multiple buildings, and abandoned some stolen goods during the chase.
Security personnel later recovered part of the stolen items. Court records showed the defendant had a prior theft conviction. Medical reports confirmed injuries to a victim’s ear consistent with a sharp object. Security footage supported witness accounts, showing the suspect moving through the complex and committing the theft. The case remains under judicial review.
