Long-time Bahrain resident dies in India

The Thattai (Bhatia) Hindu Community (Shrinathji Temple), Manama, Bahrain held a condolence meeting at T.H.M.C. Auditorium   to pay homage to late   Mohanlal Chunilal Bhatia (fondly known as M.C. Mama among the entire community), aged 83 years, who passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Mumbai, India.

He was a long-time resident of Bahrain and a leading social personality.  He worked with Gulf Air for over 35 years and was instrumental in training the Bahrainis and expatriate staff who worked with him.

He was a well-wisher of the entire Thattai Bhatia Community and Shrinathji Temple.  He served on the Executive Committee of The Thattai (Bhatia) Hindu Community for many years with the zeal and zest which was truly exemplary for the younger generation.

After his retirement he returned to Mumbai where he again enthusiastically offered his knowledge and voluntary services to various Committees of Bhatia Community and for many other noble causes.
