The Coast Guard, in cooperation with the Northern Governorate, organized a large-scale beach cleanup campaign at Badiya Beach, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community partnership, promote environmental awareness, and preserve the cleanliness of Bahrain’s coastline.

The initiative was carried out with the participation of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate, the Northern Area Municipality, the Positive Hands Volunteer Team, the Paramedics Academy, and a number of volunteers from across the community.

The campaign aimed to protect the coastal environment, reduce marine waste, and encourage a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility. Organizers said the initiative also contributes to maintaining the beaches’ civilized appearance and safeguarding marine resources.

The Coast Guard and the Northern Governorate emphasized that the campaign forms part of joint efforts to enhance environmental awareness and encourage members of society to participate in volunteer initiatives aimed at protecting Bahrain’s coastal and marine environment, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and community responsibility.
