Attempt to smuggle in tobacco foiled
Customs officers at the King Fahad Causeway Bahrain foiled an attempt to smuggle in 1851 packages of tobacco type (Al Ban) worth BD26000.
The screening device detected the substance inside a truck of personnel materials of an Asian, in which the packages were found inside his furniture.
Land Ports Customs Director said that three Asians and the importer were arrested and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
