Hajj pilgrims performed the stoning of the three Jamarat on Friday, marking the second day of Tashreeq amid smooth crowd movement and extensive organisational measures in Mina.
Pilgrims began the ritual by throwing pebbles at the small Jamarah, followed by the middle Jamarah, before concluding at Jamarat Al Aqabah, in an atmosphere filled with spirituality and devotion.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), movement across the Jamarat Bridge remained highly organised, with pilgrims able to travel easily to and from the ritual site. Worshippers also moved smoothly between their accommodation in Mina and Makkah, where some pilgrims headed to perform the farewell Tawaf before departing early.
Saudi authorities said the seamless movement resulted from comprehensive organisational and security plans designed to ensure the highest levels of safety and comfort for pilgrims throughout their Hajj journey.
The coordinated efforts form part of Saudi Arabia’s wider strategy to manage crowds efficiently and provide services for millions of pilgrims during the annual pilgrimage season.
