Bahrain Steps Up Eid Al-Adha Livestock Supply Preparations

The minister said the ministry was committed to supporting breeders and traders by providing facilities to ease livestock imports and improve the flow of supplies into the local market.
He stressed the importance of continued coordination between authorities and private sector operators to secure sufficient quantities of livestock and meat during the Eid period.
Al Mubarak said Bahrain was continuing efforts to strengthen food security by supporting the livestock sector, improving veterinary services and tightening inspections on imported animals.
He added that veterinary checks and monitoring procedures aimed to protect public health and ensure the safety of animal products sold in local markets.
