HM King Receives Sudanese Leader
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa welcomed General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, upon his arrival in Bahrain on wednesday for an official visit to the Kingdom.
During the visit, King Hamad and Al Burhan are expected to hold discussions focusing on the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and Sudan, in addition to the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest.
Also present to receive the Sudanese leader were His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, as well as several senior ministers and officials.
The visit reflects the close ties between Bahrain and Sudan and ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two countries across various fields.
