To mark the upcoming Labour Day, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued a circular announcing the official holiday arrangements.
According to the circular, ministries and public institutions will be closed on Friday, 1 May 2026, in observance of Labour Day. As the public holiday falls on a Friday, the day off will be compensated with an additional holiday on Sunday, 3 May 2026.
