Asian killed in ghastly accident near Alba roundabout

An Asian was killed and three others sustained severe injuries in a tragic accident involving four trucks and a six-wheeler near Alba roundabout on Sunday, May 31, 2015.
The deceased has been identified as Pakistani national, Mohammed Akram Abdul Rauf, who succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Sources said that the deceased had been working for a transport company in the Kingdom.
Interior Ministry has confirmed the incident, adding that traffic was affected for hours on King Hamad Road as it took time for the authorities to clear the road.
The Interior Ministry also added that an Arab woman lost her life and another person sustained injuries in an accident on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway. More details are awaited.
