Issa Abdulaziz Al Jassim, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the France, held talks with several French parliamentarians at the French National Assembly to discuss recent regional developments.
During the meeting, the ambassador briefed lawmakers on developments related to Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain. He expressed appreciation for France’s stance condemning the attacks and its support for maintaining regional security and stability.
Al Jassim noted that Bahrain has been targeted by missile and drone attacks on key facilities and civilian areas, resulting in casualties, injuries, and damage to infrastructure. He also highlighted the risks posed to maritime security in the Arabian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
French parliamentarians welcomed the briefing and reaffirmed their interest in Bahrain’s perspective. They also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries and exploring ways to support regional stability.
The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to enhance dialogue and coordination between both sides, with a focus on promoting security, stability, and peaceful solutions in the region.
