Bahrain Hosts Critical GCC Security Talks to Protect Citizens and Residents

Senior officials from the interior ministries of Gulf Cooperation Council countries held an emergency meeting via video conference to review regional security developments following recent Iranian aggression.
The meeting was chaired by Colonel Hamad Al-Khayat, Director of Operations at Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior. Officials discussed the implications of the attacks on GCC countries and assessed their potential impact on the safety and security of citizens and residents across the region.
Participants also reviewed measures to strengthen readiness and enhance security coordination among GCC member states. Discussions focused on improving information exchange with the GCC Emergency Management Center and ensuring a swift and effective response to any emerging security challenges.
The meeting underscored the importance of continued cooperation and joint efforts among GCC countries to maintain regional stability and protect public safety.
