Bahrain Defense Forces Successfully Intercept Dozens of Iranian Attacks

The Bahrain Defense Forces (BDF) announced that its air defense systems, through vigilance and advanced operational readiness, have continued to thwart successive waves of hostile attacks launched by Iran. Since the onset of these aggressive acts, the BDF has successfully destroyed 74 ballistic missiles and 117 drones targeting Bahraini airspace, waters, and territory.

The General Command of the BDF expressed pride in the exceptional combat readiness and alertness of its personnel. Their continuous operational efficiency ensures the protection of the Kingdom and reassures citizens and residents that Bahrain’s skies remain secure.

The BDF also called on the public to demonstrate national responsibility and caution. Citizens and residents are urged to remain indoors, venture outside only when absolutely necessary, and exercise maximum vigilance for their safety. The public is reminded to rely solely on official sources for information, avoid photographing military operations, refrain from spreading rumors, and stay clear of affected areas or suspicious objects. Additionally, individuals should avoid photographing crash sites and follow all official media updates and government alerts.

The General Command emphasized that the targeting of civilian areas and private property using ballistic missiles and drones constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter.
