Budaiya Residents Urge Quick Completion of New Health Centre

Residents of Budaiya may soon see relief as the long-planned Budaiya Health Centre moves closer to reality, following calls from the Northern Municipal Council for faster action.

During the 12th Ordinary Meeting of the Sixth Municipal Term (Fourth Session), council member Saad Al Doseri emphasized the urgent need to speed up the project, pointing out its vital role in providing primary healthcare to Budaiya and nearby communities. With new housing developments increasing demand, timely delivery of health services is critical.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that the land for the centre has been officially allocated and registered as a public facility. They also noted that primary healthcare centres are central to Bahrain’s national health strategy, ensuring services are accessible and well-distributed across the Kingdom.

Council members highlighted the lack of a clear construction timeline and urged the ministry to transition quickly from administrative procedures to on-site work. For Budaiya residents, completing the health centre means more than just a building—it promises practical, local access to essential healthcare.
