BIPA adopts Strategic Plan 2016-2018

Civil Service Bureau (CSB) President and Board Chairman of the Institute for Public Administration (BIPA) Ahmed bin Zayed Al Zayed BIPA Director-General, Dr. Raed Mohammed Bin Shams have commended the Institute's new strategic plan.

The plan aims to develop government performance and to accomplish development plans through skills and capacity building of leaders capable of assuming responsibility and addressing the challenges in public administration.

Al Zayed made his remarks as he chaired a meeting of BIPA's board of directors that approved the Institute's Strategic Plan 2016-2018.

He added that the new strategy seeks to achieve strategic goals in terms of the provision of advanced services to keep up with the pace of development, following optimum management of available resources and leadership techniques to provide services, and adopting enhanced policies for sustainable development processes, boosting the culture of continuous change and innovation for development.

Bin Shams said the Institute's new strategy comes in harmony with the Bahrain Economic Vision2030, the Kingdom's National Strategy and the Government Action Plan 2015-2018. The new strategy of BIPA has endorsed a set of values including innovation, transparency, respect, excellence, team work, discipline and professionalism, he added.
