Bahrain Reaffirms Commitment to Arab Unity During Arab League Visit

His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, welcomed Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 2026 World Entrepreneurs and Investors Forum (WEIF), hosted by Bahrain.

During the meeting, the Finance Minister highlighted Bahrain’s commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to continue supporting efforts aimed at strengthening Arab cooperation. He emphasized the Kingdom’s focus on enhancing coordination with the Arab League across various fields, particularly in development and economic sectors, to achieve shared goals.

His Excellency also noted the significant achievements realized in the journey of Arab cooperation, which contribute to the progress and prosperity of the Arab nations.

The meeting was attended by Her Excellency Noor bint Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Sustainable Development and CEO of the Economic Development Board; His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma’a, Minister of Education; His Excellency Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; His Excellency Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development; and a number of senior officials.
