Deputy King Meets US CENTCOM Commander
Regional security and stability took center stage today as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King, met with Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper II, Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), at Riffa Palace.
HRH the Deputy King reaffirmed Bahrain’s longstanding partnership with the United States, highlighting the importance of close coordination in defence and military matters. He praised the role of the US, alongside its allies, in promoting peace, stability, and development across the region.
The leaders also reviewed recent regional and international developments, discussing issues of shared interest and exploring ways to strengthen cooperation.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, attended the meeting.
