Traffic awareness platform introduces new systems

The Ministry of Interior announced that the General Directorate of Traffic, in coordination with the Information and eGovernment Authority organised a traffic awareness platform at The Avenues Mall, with the aim of enabling road users to familiarise themselves with the new systems and the mechanisms used to detect traffic violations.
The platform featured a range of awareness and educational programmes related to the new traffic cameras, in addition to introducing the traffic services provided by the Directorate and explaining how to benefit from them.
The General Directorate affirmed that it will intensify its awareness programmes during the coming period, calling on citizens and residents to update their contact details via the eTraffic and MyGov applications to ensure the direct receipt of alerts and notifications.
