The Autumn Fair has returned in an expanded and more ambitious form, reinforcing its position as one of Bahrain’s leading annual exhibitions., with organisers confirming a sharp expansion in space participation and visitor experience, positioning the event as one of the Kingdom’s strongest commercial and tourism platforms this year.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Tribune, Ranjith Paul, Exhibition Director of the Autumn Fair, said this year’s edition marks a decisive shift in ambition and reach. The event now spans four full halls covering approximately 31,500 square metres, welcoming more than 650 exhibitors representing over 25 countries. He described the expansion as a response to growing regional demand and Bahrain’s rising profile on the international exhibitions calendar.
Paul said the focus this year goes beyond retail. The fair has been redesigned to deliver a complete family experience, with new features including a dedicated children’s play area, an expanded food and beverage zone, a cultural stage hosting daily performances and music, and a newly introduced gaming zone in Hall Three. He added that the event has deliberately strengthened its local dimension, with Bahraini vendors increasing by 20 per cent compared to last year.
Opening the 36th edition, Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi said the Autumn Fair remains one of Bahrain’s most prominent annual events, reflecting the Kingdom’s solid standing in the regional and international exhibitions and conferences sector. She credited the continued success of the fair to the strong support provided to the tourism sector under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, which have helped create an attractive environment for tourism investment and major events.
