Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, participated in the PRO-AM segment of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, one of the flagship tournaments on the global golf calendar, held in the United Arab Emirates.

 The tournament forms part of the prestigious Rolex Series under the “Race to Dubai 2026” and features a total prize purse of $9 million, drawing elite professional golfers and high-profile amateur participants from around the world.

 His Highness competed alongside an international lineup that included Irish golfing icon Rory McIlroy, American golfer Tony Maiolo, and Indian industrialist and sports patron Dr. Pawan Munjal. The team delivered a strong and competitive showing, reflecting a high level of coordination and sportsmanship throughout the event.

 Commenting on the experience, HH Shaikh Nasser described the participation as both rewarding and distinctive, highlighting the spirit of friendly competition and the opportunity to engage with some of the world’s leading figures in professional golf.

 The Hero Dubai Desert Classic is widely regarded as one of the most prominent stops on the DP World Tour, regularly attracting top-ranked players.
