Pakistani Women’s Association Announces New Board for 2026

The Pakistani Women’s Association (PWA), a prominent charitable organization registered in Bahrain since 1998, has officially announced its newly appointed Board of Directors for the 2026 tenure. The transition marks a new chapter for the association as it continues its long-standing mission of service, empowerment, and community upliftment within the Kingdom.
The newly formed leadership team is committed to carrying forward the PWA’s established vision while building upon its significant legacy of impactful social work. The board members, who bring a shared dedication to enhancing the welfare of the community, include Shahmeen Islam as President and Wajeeha Zarrar as Vice President. They are supported by Faiza Gulzar as Treasurer, Saba Saleem as General Secretary, and Isma Farhan as Assistant General Secretary.
Rounding out the leadership team are Rahila Nadeem, who will serve as the PR Head, and Syeda Ayesha, appointed as the Community Head. Together, these leaders aim to strengthen the association’s reach and continue providing vital support to the community in Bahrain. The PWA remains a cornerstone of charitable activity, fostering unity and empowerment through its various social initiatives.
