Youth initiatives reflect Bahrain’s national ambitions, says undersecretary

Marwan Fouad Kamal, Undersecretary for Youth Affairs, stressed the importance of continued support for Bahraini youth and their empowerment across development sectors, noting that the achievements of youth initiatives reflect the Kingdom’s promising young talents and national aspirations.
Speaking at the annual ceremony organised by the Mulhemoon Association to mark its achievements, he said the results align with the Ministry of Youth Affairs’ strategy to develop young people’s skills and strengthen their competitiveness at both local and international levels. He added that these successes highlight the capabilities of Bahraini youth in leadership, creativity, volunteer work and innovation.
Iman Faisal Al Salem, a board member of the Mulhemoon Association, highlighted the organisation’s role in empowering young people, enhancing their skills and promoting initiative and leadership, in line with the Ministry’s strategy.
She noted that the association also works to build partnerships and foster an environment that encourages innovation and active community participation.
The ceremony included a documentary showcasing the association’s journey from a youth-led team to an established institutional entity, along with the recognition of supporting organisations, partners and outstanding young achievers.
