Two accused of importing, selling illegal substances

Two men accused of importing and selling narcotics and psychotropic substances through an organised network will appear before the High Criminal Court on 29 December, with the pair kept in custody while the case proceeds.
Prosecutors say the defendants worked with an unknown accomplice to bring drugs into the country and sell them for profit, using the ‘dead drop’ method in which packages are left at agreed spots for others to collect.
They also face a charge of possessing psychotropic substances for personal use in unauthorised circumstances.
An order was issued for the suspects’ arrest and for searches to be carried out.
