MUHARRAQ GOVERNORATES OPENS HISTORICAL PHOTO EXHIBITION FOR NATIONAL DAY

The Muharraq Governorate inaugurated a Historical Photo Exhibition at the Busaiteen Community Events Hall, running till 9th December, 2025, as part of Bahrain’s National Day celebrations. The opening was attended by high-profile officials, including Speaker of the House, H.E. Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Governor of Muharraq, H.E. Mr. Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al-Mannai, and Chief of Public Security, H.E. Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al-Hassan.
The exhibition features over 300 rare historical photographs and valuable documents, showcasing Muharraq’s rich heritage, traditional crafts, and historical development.
H.E. Al-Musallam praised the event for highlighting national belonging and preserving authentic Bahraini heritage. H.E. Al-Mannai emphasized the exhibition’s role in reinforcing national identity and consolidating Muharraq’s status as a cradle of culture.
The exhibition is open to the public on Monday and Tuesday in two sessions: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 4:00 PM–9:00 PM.
