RERA reviews completion of two off-plan projects

Marassi Terraces and Orchid Beach Residence record sales exceeding 80% of units

The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) conducted field visits to Marassi Terraces in Muharraq Governorate and Orchid Beach Residence in the Capital Governorate to review their completion and implementation progress.

Both projects are licensed by RERA as off-plan sales projects and have recorded sales exceeding 80% of their units.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director of Real Estate Operations at RERA, said the completion of the projects and strong sales reflect continued demand for off-plan properties and the strength of Bahrain’s real estate market.

He noted that RERA monitors the licensing, construction and completion of off-plan projects to ensure units are delivered to buyers within approved timelines, while protecting their rights and interests.

The visits also included meetings with the developers to review the stages of implementation and completion.

RERA said the strong sales performance highlights the effectiveness of the regulatory framework in supporting development, strengthening investor and buyer confidence and contributing to the sustainability of Bahrain’s real estate sector.
