The Bahraini Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (ABTTA) marked Bahraini Women's Day by honoring sixteen pioneering women in the sector, recognized for their dedication and experience spanning up to 47 years. Held at the Domain Hotel in Manama, the ceremony was attended by Minister of Tourism Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi.
ABTTA President, Fatima Ahmed, celebrated the women as an "active force" who have led companies and represented Bahrain internationally.
Furthermore, the ABTTA unveiled a major initiative for 2026: an extensive training program aiming to qualify 100 employees in partnership with the "Origin Training Center."
The course, which grants IATA certification, will focus on essential modern skills like effective communication, content creation, and social media management.
