Zain Group Partners with the International Disability Business Forum on International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Zain Group has established a strategic partnership with the International Disability Business Forum, making it the first telecommunications company in the MENA region to join this global initiative aimed at fostering an inclusive environment for people with disabilities. This partnership coincides with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3 and aligns with Zain's broader “WE ABLE 2030” strategy, which seeks to promote an equitable work environment.

Zain's initiatives focus on integrating accessibility into both operational and strategic decisions, including recruitment and procurement, to empower and include individuals with disabilities. The company aims to become a "disability-smart" organisation by enhancing its policies and practices to eliminate barriers and provide equal opportunities.

Bader Nasser Al-Kharafi, Zain’s Vice Chairman and CEO, highlighted the company's commitment to making inclusion a reality by transforming its recruitment and professional development processes to prioritise accessibility. Additionally, the group has launched a new GROW program aimed at graduates with disabilities and initiated a professional development plan to support their career advancement.
