Traffic Violations: 169 Motorcycles, Delivery Vehicles Seized in Two Days

Manama: In the past two days, Bahrain's civil traffic patrols have impounded 169 motorcycles and delivery service vehicles for traffic violations, as part of the General Directorate of Traffic's ongoing efforts to boost road safety. The drivers, who committed offences like improper parking, helmet-less riding, lane indiscipline, driving in emergency lanes, crossing pedestrian paths and reckless driving, are facing legal action.

The General Directorate of Traffic has vowed to take stringent action against such offenders, lauding the efforts of civilian patrols in promoting road safety.

The General Directorate of Traffic affirmed its commitment to taking legal action against violators without leniency, praising the pivotal role of civilian traffic patrols in raising traffic discipline and accurately and efficiently monitoring dangerous behaviours. The Directorate also called upon all motorcyclists and road users to fully comply with traffic regulations and rules, emphasising that community partnership and traffic awareness are essential elements for ensuring safer roads in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
