Bahrain and Saudi Navies Concluded Joint Maritime Drill “Jisr 26
On Thursday, 13 November 2025, the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), represented by the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, concluded the joint maritime exercise “Jisr 26” with the Royal Saudi Naval Forces – Eastern Fleet – in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The exercise formed part of the ongoing Jisr series, which is held regularly to strengthen military cooperation between the Bahrain Defence Force and the Saudi Armed Forces. It reflects the deep-rooted ties and continuous coordination between the two brotherly nations in the fields of defence and security. The joint drill aimed to enhance combat readiness, unify operational concepts, and exchange expertise among participants. It included the implementation of various naval scenarios and operations designed to boost the efficiency of command and control systems, while reinforcing interoperability between the naval forces of both countries.
The successful conclusion of Jisr 26 underscores the commitment of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to strengthening joint military coordination and ensuring the security and stability of the region.
