Eng. Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah, Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Affairs at the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture, underscored Bahrain’s commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture. He made the remarks during his participation in the high-level Regional Agricultural Dialogue held in Amman, the capital of Jordan.

The event, organised by the Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development in cooperation with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and several regional and international partners, took place from 5–6 November 2025 and brought together ministers, officials, experts, and representatives from financial institutions and international organisations.

The dialogue focused on promoting sustainable agricultural development across the Arab region, with participants exchanging experiences on circular agriculture, innovation, and sustainable financing.

Eng. Abdullah emphasised the importance of sharing Arab expertise in agricultural development and strengthening regional cooperation to enhance food security. He highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to adopting effective initiatives to develop crop and livestock production, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Bahrain’s economic vision, while supporting all stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
