Ministry of Labour Revamps Unemployment Appeals Committee
His Excellency Mr Yusuf bin Abdulhussein Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, welcomed members of the committee responsible for reviewing appeals related to unemployment compensation and allowances, following its reconstitution under Ministerial Decision No. (27) of 2025.
The Minister emphasised the committee’s key role in examining appeals submitted by beneficiaries, ensuring the proper application of the decision’s provisions, and maintaining transparency and fairness in decisions concerning the entitlement, suspension, or forfeiture of unemployment compensation or allowances.
