HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Meets Key Legislative Leaders

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, along with their deputies and members of the Committees on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and National Security from both councils. The meeting, held at Gudaibiya Palace, was also attended by several council members and HE Sameer Abdulla Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

During the discussions, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister underscored the importance of cooperation between the Executive and Legislative branches, in partnership with the private sector, as a cornerstone of Bahrain’s national initiatives. He noted that this collaboration continues to drive progress across all sectors and supports the Kingdom’s comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH Prince Salman highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening the partnership between the Executive and Legislative branches and the private sector, aiming to advance the Kingdom’s development and improve the well-being of Bahraini citizens. He emphasized the private sector’s pivotal role in achieving national development goals, generating opportunities for citizens, enhancing economic competitiveness, and fostering sustainable growth.

The Crown Prince also stressed the significance of supporting Bahrain’s efforts to establish itself as a premier regional and international destination for major events, conferences, and championships. These efforts, he noted, showcase the Kingdom’s infrastructure, capabilities, and wide-ranging investment opportunities.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed pride in the members of Team Bahrain, recognizing their dedication, creativity, and contributions to the Kingdom’s ongoing progress.

In response, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, the Chairman of the Shura Council, and the BCCI Chairman expressed gratitude for His Royal Highness’ steadfast support in promoting cooperation between the government, legislature, and private sector, all aimed at serving the people of Bahrain.

HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and a number of senior officials also attended the meeting.
