Astronomy Meets Photography: Supermoon Night in Bahrain
In a captivating astronomical event, renowned astronomer Mohammed Reda Al Asfour organized a special evening to observe and photograph the Supermoon at Sama Bay Promenade in Muharraq. The event was held under the presence of His Excellency Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfour, Advisor for Community Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, and His Excellency Brigadier Abdullah Ali Rashid Maanter.
The evening was conducted in collaboration with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and FujiFilm Bahrain, attracting a wide range of participants including astronomy enthusiasts, photographers, and hobbyists from various age groups among both residents and citizens.
Participants received expert guidance on photographing the Supermoon using advanced photographic equipment and had the opportunity to observe the celestial phenomenon through specially equipped telescopes.
Attendees were treated to the mesmerizing sight of the Supermoon rising over the horizon, its reflection shimmering on the sea, creating a serene atmosphere that blended scientific insight with visual wonder.
