Bahrain’s E-Government Services Face Temporary Disruptions Amid Global Internet Outages
The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) of Bahrain has informed the public that several government websites, systems, and applications are currently experiencing unexpected technical difficulties. The disruptions come in the wake of a recent global internet outage that impacted cloud infrastructure worldwide.
Authorities confirmed that they are actively working to resolve the issues and gradually restore full functionality for both government users and the general public who continue to face challenges accessing digital services.
Since the onset of the technical disruption, the iGA has been closely monitoring the situation and taking necessary measures to bring all systems and applications back online in a phased manner.
The Authority has expressed appreciation for the public’s patience and understanding during this unexpected technical hiccup. Citizens and residents with inquiries, suggestions, or feedback are encouraged to contact the Government Services Call Center at 80008001, or submit their messages via the National Suggestions and Complaints System or the Tawasul App.
