Bahrain’s Parliamentary Leadership Celebrates International Recognition in Geneva

In a proud moment for Bahrain’s legislative sector, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Engineer Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives and Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division, on his election as a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP).

The election took place on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 151st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Speaker Al Musallam hailed the achievement as another milestone in Bahrain’s flourishing parliamentary diplomacy and a testament to the excellence of Bahraini talent on the international stage. He emphasized that such accomplishments reflect the success of Bahrain’s comprehensive development march under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the unwavering support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He further praised Al Buainain’s dedication and outstanding efforts in enhancing the operations of the General Secretariat, supporting members of parliament, and fostering cooperation with other legislative secretariats and parliamentary unions worldwide.

Concluding his remarks, Speaker Al Musallam wished Al Buainain continued success in representing Bahrain and advancing the nation’s parliamentary work with distinction and integrity.
